Job Description
The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering oversees manufacturing operations at a high-mix, high-volume production facility. This role focuses on efficiency, quality, and innovation through the lens of continuous improvement and automation. The Manager leads a team of process and automation engineers, drives cost reduction initiatives, and ensures compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics or related field)
- Master’s degree in engineering (Manufacturing systems or technical management is preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and industrial automation
- 6+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Proven success in NPI
- Hands-on experience with composite processing, plastic extrusion, injection molding
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, GD&T, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
