Safety Field Technician III

GeoStabilization International is seeking a Safety Field Technician III to embed a culture of operational discipline, ownership, and high-performance execution in the Western US. The role requires a safety partner who can adapt standards to the unique demands of geohazard mitigation and foster a deep-rooted safety culture.

Requirements

• Operational Partnership: Collaborate with field operations to proactively identify and mitigate risks on complex, high-exposure job sites.
• Culture & Coaching: Lead field-level training and 'in-the-trenches' coaching tailored to specific terrain, project exposure, and team maturity.
• Incident Investigation: Conduct rigorous root-cause analyses of safety incidents; drive organizational learning and policy adjustments based on real-world field input.
• Strategic Interface: Serve as the bridge between field crews, safety leadership, and clients to ensure standards are upheld and safety solutions are adopted.
• Training & Mentorship: Facilitate formal crew-level training, work toward becoming a certified OSHA Trainer, and present at internal company-wide meetings.
• Project Oversight: Own regional project scheduling and contribute to the development of Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and project startup protocols.
• Compliance Expertise: Build subject matter expertise in Worker's Compensation, Owner-specific compliance, and CPR/First Aid (Instructor-level).
