Administrative Coordinator, Antiquities

The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks a part-time Administrative Coordinator to support the Museum’s Villa Scholar program located at the Getty Villa. The successful candidate will administer the Getty Scholars Program at the Villa, provide support for the Villa Scholars in residence, and collaborate with various departments and programs Getty wide.

Requirements

• Coordinate the scholar application review process
• Evaluate applicant eligibility and prepare documentation
• Assist with the formation of the Villa Scholars Selection Committee
• Support committee members in collaboration with the Getty Research Institute and Foundation
• Correspond with potential Villa Scholar applicants
• Draft written internal reports and memoranda
• Organize remote and in-person Villa Scholar seminars and lectures
• Foster communication and collaboration across departments and programs Getty wide
• Coordinate with the Getty Research Institute and the Office of Scholars, Interns, and Professionals (OSIP)
