Job Description
GHD is seeking a dynamic Gas-to-Power Lead to drive growth in the North American gas-fired power generation business. The role involves identifying and securing new project opportunities, delivering engineering and advisory services, and building a high-performing team. This position offers the opportunity to shape the firm’s presence in the evolving power generation market and contribute to grid reliability, dispatchable energy, and energy transition goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Systems Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in gas power plant design, development, or execution
- Demonstrated success in business development, capture strategy, and client relationship management
- Deep technical experience with engineering management, project delivery, contracts, and cost control
- Familiarity with power markets, permitting, and regulatory environments across North America
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing technical teams
