Job Description
GHJ Search and Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their growing Finance team. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, grant tracking, and supporting a family homeless nonprofit. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants to combine technical skill with purpose.
Requirements
- Process vendor invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Record donations, ACH deposits, and contributions
- Support grant and program accounting
- Maintain organized digital and physical files
- Assist with budget preparation
- Support audit and compliance reviews
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
