Job Description
GHJ Search and Staffing is seeking a Staff Accountant for a well-established national accounting and advisory firm. The position focuses on providing qualified accounting professionals through temporary and permanent contracts, leveraging a Global Advisory and Accounting Network for resource enhancement. The role involves accounting preparation, reconciliation, tax compliance, inventory management, and assisting with audits.
Requirements
- Prepare journal entries and perform detailed account analysis and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and reconcile intercompany balances.
- Prepare and file monthly tax forms.
- Coordinate and file annual Forms 1099 and 1095.
- Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts and reconcile results to the general ledger.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
