Key responsibilities include:
- Creating documents for landscape and environmental planning (EIA report, LBP, species protection contribution, FFH compatibility study, habitat protection regulatory review, MSRL and WRRL contribution) within the framework of land-use or licensing procedures on land and at sea
- Environmental expertise statements on various issues in the on- and offshore sector
- Ecological project/project procedure support and perception of consultation meetings with the responsible authorities
Note: This position is being advertised for several of our locations: Greifswald, Hamburg, and Rostock
What we are looking for:
- You have a successfully completed university degree in the field of landscape and environmental planning, land conservation, geography, biology (or comparable study programs) with a focus on landscape planning/environmental planning
- You can demonstrate planning experience
- You are goal-oriented and self-employed in your work, as well as have a secure appearance before authorities and customers
- You are team-oriented and strongly communicative
- You work well-structured, accurately, and organized
- You are willing to travel on business and to work occasionally in other branches or project offices, have a driving license class B
- You are confident in using MS Office applications
- You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
Desirable qualifications:
- Planning experience from the marine sector
- Experience with field surveys (terrestrial biotopes, species) and
- Species knowledge (flora, birds, amphibians, reptiles)
- Knowledge of using GIS and/or AutoCad
