Project Accountant II

Gilbane is seeking a Project Accountant II to manage project accounting and financial forecasting for small to mid-sized jobs. The role involves day-to-day interface with project management, clients, and subcontractors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in construction management and payment management software. Requirements

• Manage contracts, amendments, insurance, bonds, SOV, Files, and Co Policies
• Conduct timely and accurate review of requisitions and lien waivers
• Set up and properly format project financial forecasts
• Manage monthly project forecast meetings and maintain accurate ETCs for labor and expenses
• Ensure timely management of accounts receivable and payables
• Manage the project financial closeout process
• Develop and maintain positive professional relationships internally and externally
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
