Job Description
Gilbane is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Senior General Superintendent to lead a major construction project. This role requires a balance of leadership, project management, safety, and team development. The position is on-site and full-time, with the ability to grow professionally within a large, well-established organization. Gilbane offers comprehensive training and development opportunities within their Gilbane University.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 15+ years of experience on a $100 million+ site/civil construction project or multiple projects in a superintendent role
- OSHA 30-hour certified
- STS-C Certification
- First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs
- Ability to participate in sales process, interviews, and presentations
- Ability to lead in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
