The Organisme d'Autoreglementation du Courtage Immobilier du Quebec (OACIQ) is seeking an Attorney, Legal Affairs to ensure the protection of the public who use the services of real estate brokerage firms regulated by law.
Requirements
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in law
- Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar Association
- Excellent mastery of French, spoken and written
- Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written
- Knowledge of real estate, administrative and professional law
- Knowledge of governance
- Knowledge of the Quebec Real Estate Brokerage Act and its regulations
- Knowledge of the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information
- Mastering of computer tools, particularly Microsoft Office 365
