Assistant Teacher

Assistant Teacher position at Goddard Riverside Community Center. Manage classroom and safety & well-being of children. Lead class, create lesson plans, and maintain classroom environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Teaching Assistant Certificate Level 1 or working toward one
• Experience with preschool children
• DOI Fingerprinted/PETS
• Pass state background check
• Current CPR/First Aid Training (plus)
• Current DOE & DOH mandated trainings (plus)
• Bilingual (plus)
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to take initiative in work assignments
• Ability to work flexible hours and be flexible with children
• Highly organized
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Creative
• Patient
• Good sense of humor and enjoy working with children
• Basic technology skills
• Ability to use tablet and online applications
