Job Description
Youth Worker (Beacon 1 After School) Job Description: The Goddard Riverside Community Center and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center are seeking a Youth Worker to work with a group of co-ed children, divided into grade groups (kindergarten through eight grade), for reading enrichment, project-based learning, group games and social0emotional competencies. The Youth Worker will work in unison with the Group Leader and other group staff to provide a positive and creative environment for the social and intellectual development of all participants.
Requirements
- Foster a learning environment that stimulates children's creative growth and development.
- Demonstrate professionalism & leadership – be a team member of three (3) & a group of 20-25 youth in grades K-8
- Maintain sound supervision and ensuring the safety of program participants at all times.
