Job Description
Gorgias is building a platform for Conversational Commerce and is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their Decision Intelligence team. The team is responsible for shaping decision-making into a competitive advantage across Gorgias. The Senior Data Scientist will be the lead IC for the data science discipline and will work closely with stakeholders to implement value and deliver outcomes through modeling, experimentation, and recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or a related quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Deep experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, segmentation, and experimentation design
- Experience partnering with engineering teams to productionalize models (MLOps, model monitoring, CI/CD for ML)
- Strong communication skills to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
