Job Description
The organization is seeking a results-driven Director of Behavioral Health to oversee behavioral health operations and provide staff mentorship. This role focuses on enhancing access and quality of care by managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with community agencies, and ensuring compliance. The position supports a multi-disciplinary team and leads projects related to behavioral health expansion.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related field
- Current California licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD, PsyD, or RN with psychiatric background)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in behavioral health, including leadership roles
- Strong understanding of clinical best practices and community mental health systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
