Job Description
This Machinist position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC or manual machining equipment to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. The role includes training new employees, troubleshooting machines, and adhering to strict safety protocols. The candidate is expected to be able to read blueprints, perform precise measurements, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Capable of setup and running of CNC or manual machines
- Self-sufficient in all areas of machining and production
- Able to machine complex parts
- Expertise in reading and interpretation of blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of mathematics, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
- GSM is a government contractor and US Citizenship/Permanent Resident status is required in most cases.
