Job Description
The Weld Lead role focuses on preparing, welding, fabricating, and finishing products according to engineering drawings and specifications. This position involves supervision, troubleshooting, training, and adherence to safety standards, contributing to a safe and clean work environment. Collaboration with other departments and adherence to ethical and legal standards are also key.
Requirements
- At least ten years of related experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to obtain welding certifications
- Expert knowledge of steel alloys and welding procedures
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
- Understanding of welded specifications and AWS standards
