Job Description
The Weld Lead position is a working technical resource responsible for welding operations, fabrication, and finishing products according to engineering drawings. Duties include preparation, welding, troubleshooting, certification training, and collaboration with other manufacturing departments. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company standards.
Requirements
- At least ten years of related experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to obtain welding certifications
- Knowledge of wire and filler material applications
- Proficiency in precision measuring instruments
- Expert knowledge of military specification and AWS specifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent human interaction skills
