Job Description
GrayMatter Robotics is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to join their AI robotics startup in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on developing and implementing algorithms, architecture, and software packages for production robots, working with sensors and tools to improve quality and reduce costs. The company is building a Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model for automated surface finishing tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science or similar engineering discipline
- 4+ years of demonstrated industry experience in developing, implementing, and testing algorithms for planning/learning/perception/control
- Proficiency in C++ and Python production-level coding
- Proficiency in working with ROS, ROS2, Google Protobuffs, and other open-source libraries
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
