Whey Plant Machine Operator III - Skilled Relief Nights

The Whey Operator is responsible for assisting the Whey Evaporator and Dryer Operator in the whey processing operation. The position requires ability to adapt to change quickly, understand the basic operation of evaporator and dryer, and make process adjustments.

Requirements

• Operate and clean the AMVR Evaporator in automatic and manual modes.
• Operate and clean the TFD and MSD spray dryers.
• Perform lab work as required.
• Troubleshoot and solve any productions problem during operation.
• Keep all records accurate and up to date.
• Keep equipment and plant in condition that will meet all regulatory agency requirements.
• Adapt to change quickly and make process adjustments to evaporator and dryer.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
