Staff Provider will work with a small team to facilitate rapid-access intakes and enhanced medical support for Groups members. They will leverage telemedicine, prioritize member success, and provide longitudinal maintenance care. Flexibility, empathy, and commitment to member success are critical attributes.
Requirements
- Adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
- Determine medical necessity and appropriateness for treatment
- Prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone and other approved medications
- Maintain a regular schedule of intake shifts
- Complete intake documentation thoroughly and accurately
- Be accountable for successful initiation of MAT during early weeks of treatment
- Coordinate with community providers for successful transition of new members
- Collaborate with other provider colleagues to transition care of new members
- Escalate controversial situations to medical and/or clinical leadership
- Maintain a panel of maintenance members and serve as their dedicated provider
- Meet with patients for monthly provider groups
- Be available by phone and email to discuss patient medical issues
- Meet with patients for pre-scheduled individual sessions as needed
- Maintain patient records in confidence and complete records in a timely fashion
- Provide regular coverage for makeup groups and sessions
- Provide cross-coverage for colleagues and answer medical questions
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule of urgent prescription coverage
- Facilitate access to State's prescription drug monitoring database
- Complete high quality documentation
- Manage group and individual sessions
- Work with office staff to maintain a clinical schedule
- Stay familiar with Recover Together policies and procedures
- Follow up on interprofessional communication
- Assist with onboarding, training, and support of new providers
- Work with medical leadership team to pilot new initiatives
- Assist with other duties as assigned
