Job Description
This is a full-time position for a Fabricator at a plant located in Galveston, Texas. The role involves the design, construction, layout, and welding of metal products using various engineering techniques. Responsibilities include blueprint reading, material calculations, and adherence to safety protocols. This is a 5-year project.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year certificate from college or technical school (preferred)
- 1st Class Pipe or Plate/Structural fabricating experience (3-5 years)
- 2nd Class Pipe or Plate/Structural fabricating experience (1-3 years)
- NCCER card preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs., and work in a hazardous environment.
- Ability to work in trenches and confined spaces.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
