Job Description
This part-time Phlebotomist I position involves the collection of blood and other specimens from patients of all age groups in a variety of settings. Duties include patient registration, specimen transport, specimen delivery, specimen processing, and emergency response. The role requires high accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to safety regulations. The position also involves working as a phlebotomist for both outpatient and inpatient procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer keyboard skills
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program (desired)
- Medical terminology preferred
- Valid driver’s license
