Job Description
The Registered Nurse position at Guthrie's Cortland, NY clinic is a part-time position focused on direct patient care within the nursing process. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to GCMC policies and guidelines. Entry-level candidates are expected to have prior experience and specialty unit certification.
Requirements
- Current NYS license to perform as a registered professional nurse
- Current BLS-CPR certification (or within 30 days of employment)
- Specialty Unit - Maternity Certification (within 6 months of employment)
- Specialty Unit - ICU ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Participation in at least 75% of staff meetings
- Knowledge of infection control and code blue procedures
- Understanding of emergency preparedness plans
