Job Description
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer utilizes high-frequency sound waves for medical diagnosis in various areas of the body. This role involves performing ultrasound examinations, assisting clinicians, performing quality control, and maintaining sterility. The position requires strong observational skills and adaptability to emergency situations.
Requirements
- High school diploma with additional skills training (certification) required
- Minimum of three months of experience (RDMS)
- Must be able to lift, push, reach, bend, stop, and walk and perform a stand-pivot transfer
- Ability to react quickly to emergency situations
- Ability to work independently and effectively
- Willingness to work on a variety of shifts and on call
