Job Description
Stone Express, Inc., a division of the H&K Group, Inc., is seeking 2nd shift Shop Mechanics to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline vocational trucks. This self-motivated, organized individual is responsible for all aspects of truck repair and maintenance, adhering to OSHA and safety policies. Requirements
- Perform all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
- Read and observe truck or equipment operation
- Install new ignition systems, align front wheels, and replace transmissions
- Replace gas or diesel engines
- Examine protective guards and check safety devices
- Lubricate and service vehicles
- Fabricate lifting/towing attachments and hydraulic systems
- Repair collision guards and apply paint
- Ability to pass state inspection requirements
