Job Description
The Construction Manager will oversee the construction process from pre-construction through warranty expiration, ensuring homes are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved plans and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of residential construction leadership experience and a strong working knowledge of local zoning regulations, building codes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of residential construction leadership experience
- Current NC General Contractor license or ability to become licensed within 6 months of hire
- Demonstrated experience managing production schedules and cost controls
- Strong subcontractor and vendor management experience
- Thorough knowledge of local zoning requirements and building codes
- Experience implementing green building standards and performance certifications
- Demonstrated experience supervising and developing field teams
- Strong organizational, financial management, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
