Administrative Assistant lll

Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking an Administrative Assistant III to provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director of Community Safety. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. They will be responsible for coordinating report production, managing office workflow, and acting as a primary contact for the Executive Director's office.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (or equivalent) and related post-secondary education from a recognized educational institution
• Minimum three to five years' experience in a senior administrative position
• Proficiency in the use of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Thorough knowledge of current administrative/office management practices and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with proven abilities to prioritize competing demands and timelines
• Above average attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Effective written communication and interpersonal skills
