Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is seeking a Cook I for the Food and Beverage division. This full-time position is a dual rate position, with a 24/7 shift required. The role focuses on preparing and cooking food orders, ensuring quality, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Candidates should be proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Ninety days of Cook I experience or one year of cooking experience in a high-volume food service operation is required
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards and procedures
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
