As Manager, Global Logistics – Ocean Freight & Customs, you will lead end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of Havenly’s international freight and import operations. You will own relationships with global freight forwarders, ocean carriers, customs brokers, and port operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods into our domestic network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in global logistics or international freight operations, with 3+ years in a leadership or ownership role.
- Deep understanding of ocean freight operations, incoterms, customs processes, and HTS classification.
- Strong vendor management experience—skilled in holding partners accountable for service and cost performance.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and logistics tracking tools.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and analytical, with a data-first mindset and a continuous improvement approach.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first work environment.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
