Cashier/Retail Counter Sales

Hayward Lumber is seeking a Cashier/Retail Counter Sales to provide excellent customer service and process sales transactions accurately. The role involves scanning, handling cash, directing customers, and maintaining the sales floor. It's a full-time, hourly position within a family-oriented company with a focus on building and exceeding customer needs.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a retail setting (preferred)
• Previous experience in the lumber or building materials (preferred)
• Must take and pass drug test and consent to a background check
• Previous experience in a team atmosphere
