Job Description
Provide full-time nursing services for the communities of Attawapiskat and Fort Albany, Ontario, providing individualized, effective, and ethical nursing care to patients, and working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current certificate of competence in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electrocardiogram (ECG) Level I and II, Peripheral Intravenous Initiation and maintenance, and Life Saving Drugs
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate
- Minimum of two (2) years’ full-time equivalent experience, within the last three (3) years in an acute care area
