Job Description
Under the medical direction and supervision of a physician, Respiratory Therapists plan and implement a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for patients suffering from a wide range of cardiac and pulmonary disorders.
Requirements
- Current certification of registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario.
- Ministry of Labour "Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps" training certificate is required.
- Adult teaching and supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in the assigned Core Group.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
- Proof of ongoing commitment to self-development.
- Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance record.
