The role involves collaborating with SMEs, Process Analysts, and Trainers to gather information and validate content accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience creating technical documentation
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, user-friendly content
- Experience working closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and subject-matter experts
- Experience with markup languages (Markdown, HTML, XML)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications
- Experience creating diagrams or visuals using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, or Draw.io
- Understanding of content management systems (CMS) and structured authoring principles
- Exceptional written communication and attention to detail
- Strong interviewing and information-gathering skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working in fast-paced or agile environments
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
