Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner-Oncology is a part-time role within the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, providing comprehensive direct patient care as a central member of the Medical Services team. The role focuses on cancer pathophysiology, disease progression, treatment, and symptom management, collaborating with the oncology team and assessing patient outcomes. Candidates must have completed a Master of Nursing or equivalent program and be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved NP program at a minimum of a Master of Nursing level or equivalent.
- Successful completion of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act Module (CDSA) from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Athabasca University.
- Registered with the SRNA and licensed as RN (NP).
