Job Description
Health Connect America is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide supportive services to clients in their homes, community, or office settings. The role focuses on providing trauma-informed care, fostering healing, and connecting clients to resources. This position offers a dynamic environment for making a difference and growing professionally.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a mental health condition and/or substance use disorder, must be in recovery, must be open minded, and must be willing to share personal experiences with mental illness/substance use publicly.
- Must be a High School Graduate or have GED.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in state of employment with a safe driving record.
- Must have successfully completed state specific Peer Specialist training and exam.
