Job Description
Skills is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to support individuals receiving behavioral health services in State College, PA. The role involves developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP), facilitating peer support groups, and assisting with individual recovery planning. This position offers opportunities for growth within a supportive team focused on promoting empowerment and resilience during recovery.
Requirements
- A Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) with a high school diploma or equivalent degree, and at least 12 months of volunteer or paid experience in the Mental Health Field
- Valid PA Driver's License required
- Must have completed a CPS certification training curriculum approved by the Department.
