Cardiac Sonographer

Park Nicollet is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join their team and provide echocardiographic services to adult patients. The position involves performing procedures like M-Mode, Two-Dimensional, and contrast echocardiography, as well as other related duties. It focuses on patient care and supports departmental goals.

Requirements

• Graduation from an allied health diagnostic program or training
• Registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) (1 year hire)
• BLS certification (3 months)
• Knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias, and conduction disturbances
• Knowledge of sterile technique
• Knowledge of mathematical and algebra principles
• Ability to perform cardiac resuscitation
• Ability to work effectively with critically ill/injured patients
• Ability to recognize and report problems
• Ability to perform basic clerical tasks
• Knowledge of procedures in the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory
