Cardiac Sonographer

Park Nicollet is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join their team. This role involves performing echocardiographic procedures on adult patients in the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory, including M-Mode echocardiography, Two-Dimensional echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, pulsed, continuous wave, and color flow doppler echocardiography. The position supports departmental goals and contributes to achieving a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Graduation from an allied health diagnostic program or equivalent training.
• Registration as a RDCS or RCS (or required training for hire).
• BLS certification (3 months of hire).
• Knowledge of electrocardiography and arrhythmias.
• Knowledge of sterile technique.
• Knowledge of mathematical principals and algebra.
• Knowledge of defibrillator and crash cart operation.
• Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Ability to work with critically ill/injured patients.
• Ability to work with adults.
• Ability to read and utilize computerized echocardiographic equipment.
• Ability to correctly perform basic clerical activities.
• Knowledge of echocardiographic techniques and procedures.
