Before and After School Program Director

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a dynamic Director to lead their Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The Director will be responsible for guiding compliance, bringing fun and engaging activities, managing daily operations, and maintaining open communication with parents and staff.

Requirements

• Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field
• Two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work
• A New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential
• A School-Age Child Care Credential or another office-recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period
• An Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field
• Medically fit and free of any communicable diseases
• Warm, friendly, and upbeat with exceptional people skills
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
