Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you'll join our Database Operations team to ensure the performance and reliability of mission-critical SQL Server infrastructure supporting healthcare providers nationwide. You'll design and implement automated solutions, build and enhance automation frameworks, and contribute to automated deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience managing SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, T-SQL) with a focus on automating common administration tasks and the challenges of a large environment.
• Exposure to the challenges of managing a large, complex environment at scale.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server administration fundamentals (backup/restore, replication, HA/DR)
• Proven experience with database performance triage and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting platforms for large database environments.
• Understanding of Azure database technology stack.
• Basic understanding of configuration management and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Experience with enterprise job scheduling platforms (ex. JAMS, Ansible Automation Platform) is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with large transactional environments (3TB+) is highly desirable.
