KSBW 8 News is seeking a high-energy, highly skilled Meteorologist to join their weather team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about severe weather, capable of delivering compelling weather stories, and adaptable to evolving technology. This role involves forecasting, graphics creation, reporting, and community engagement.
Requirements
- Professional or schooling on-air experience handling breaking news and severe weather coverage
- In-depth knowledge of weather science and forecasting
- Dynamic on-air presence with a conversational weather presentation
- Experience with common television weather systems
- Experience with live field reporting on weather and other topics
- Knowledge of high-powered radar data interpretation
- Bilingual a Plus
