Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Newscast Director (part time) for their Kansas City, MO station. The role involves operating a live production system, collaborating with multiple teams, and delivering high-quality newscasts. The director is expected to troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2+ years directing and technical directing a newscast
- Working knowledge of production switchers, audio boards, and studio equipment
- MOS and basic computer network understanding
- Understanding of newsroom systems ENPS and video playback systems
- Technical know-how to resolve existing issues and work around problems
