Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking a Local News Photographer to capture the essence of events in the field and deliver them in a vivid format for their online platforms. The role involves shooting, editing, and executing live shots, working with newsrooms and reporters, and producing content to digital platforms. It requires maintaining a professional standard and upholding journalistic integrity.
Requirements
- Shooting and editing of VOs, VO-SOTs and packages for broadcast air and online postings
- Work with the Assignment Desk and Reporters to cover daily stories
- Shoot on assigned professional camera equipment
- Edit in Adobe Premiere and use ENG, SNG, and wireless data to feed completed work to the station
- Organize and prioritize
- Work with producers to ensure the best content and facts are gathered
- Work with catalog systems to save/record and locate necessary video
- Produce and publish content to our online platforms
- Experience with ENG trucks
