Requirements
- Gather and organize press releases, emails, phone calls, and viewer tips
- Verify facts and uphold Hearst Television's strict journalist standards
- Monitor emergency scanners, social media, and broadcast feeds
- Keep track of crews in the field and communicate with them during daily newsgathering and breaking news
- Assist management with content gathering and planning
- Pitch and develop enterprise stories
- Confirm, write, and post content to all digital platforms
