Job Description
Hearst Television is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and oversee all broadcast operations for its Jackson, MS affiliate. The role involves managing a team, overseeing station equipment and systems, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Requirements
- Manage and schedule technical and operational staff
- Oversee all studio and field equipment
- Manage the daily operation of the station
- Budgeting and Capital Planning
- Effort support and repair of all studio and field equipment
- Maintain transmitter, satellite antenna systems, automation, signal distribution and routing systems
- Exhibit working knowledge of television maintenance, FCC requirements and licensing, and OSHA guidelines
