Job Description
Heifer International Honduras is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support administrative and accounting activities within the Subsistence Agriculture and Agro-Logistical Services Program in Tocoa, Colón. This role requires a commitment to availability in the Tocoa area and focuses on supporting project resources and financial management. The position emphasizes compliance with established procedures and donor stipulations.
Requirements
- Record and maintain daily accounts, manage monthly closures and archive support documents.
- Prepare accounts receivable and payable reports, ensuring financial settling and control.
- Supervise project accounting, ensuring compliance with PHI accounts catalog and donor guidelines.
- Manage financial resources, including bank accounts, funds, and inventories.
- Provide administrative and accounting support to managers, technical staff, and purchasing processes.
- Experience in report preparation, bank reconciliations, and administrative controls.
- Experience with computer packages (Office, Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Ability to manage accounting software (ERP preferred).
