The In-Home Outreach Counselor will conduct comprehensive intake and assessment with each family to evaluate specific needs and coordinate all systems of care. They will provide one-hour, in-home counseling and clinical case management sessions to families in and around Service Area 7 & Service Area 8 (LA County Cities: Santa Fe Springs, Commerce, Long Beach and surrounding Communities) once per week, at minimum.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree (Preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree required in Arts/Science in social services, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Criminal Justice or Child Development or related field
- 6 months – 1 year of case management experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Permanent U.S. residency or citizenship
- Vehicle for use to conduct in-home sessions
- Valid California Driver’s license, current auto insurance, and good driving record
- Ability to pass background check and criminal clearance
- Experience in working in a community-based organization
- Knowledge of Southeast Los Angeles County
