Helpline Youth Counseling (HYC), founded in 1967 and incorporated in 1971, is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting at‑risk, low‑income children, youth, and families. HYC delivers a comprehensive, holistic suite of services—including counseling, mental‑health care, behavioral intervention, drug and alcohol treatment, gang prevention, and homeless services—to strengthen family resilience and foster self‑sufficiency. The In-Home Outreach Clinician will provide one-hour, in-home counseling and clinical case management sessions to families in and around Service Area 7. They will also conduct unannounced visits and child follow-up sessions, as needed, to ensure child safety. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Department of Children and Family Services Childrens Social Worker to assist in accomplishing case plan goals and outcomes for families.
