Senior Account Manager, Sales job provides senior-level sales support to existing customers in the paint and coatings market while developing new accounts by strengthening relationships with key decision-makers. The position requires working knowledge of coating applications and chemical products, partnering closely with customers to improve coating properties and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in paint or coatings applications, coating raw materials, or chemical products
- ABRACO or NACE certification preferred (Oil & Gas experience a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, results-driven mindset and a proactive “hunter” approach to sales
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization (English proficiency a plus)
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight approximately 30–50% of the time
