Job Description
Heywood Healthcare is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to support physicians in diagnosis and study of organ malfunction. This per diem role involves using ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images, assisting patients, and maintaining accurate records. The technician will operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and print images to preserve them for reference.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or Radiology Technology
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) registration in Ultrasound Technology
- Minimum one year of ultrasound experience preferred
- AHA BLS certification (required within 6 months)
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment, set and adjust technical settings
- Quality-conscious and interpersonal skills
